 QB Philip Rivers states that he and Tomlinson are healthy and ready to play this year. Shawn Merriman and Antonio Cromartie coming back from their respective injuries feel this year will be different. Their off-season is going really good. The rookies, I must say are doing exceptionally espceally the rookie Louis Vazquez. health and the continued bettering of Phillip Rivers.  It will be interesting to see how well Shawn Merriman returns from his ACL surgery, seeing whether or not he will be lights out or just in the dark.  I'll give the Steelers 7/10.

minutes ago that, when the Chargers had their physicals for each player at the end of last season, Shawn Merriman was told THEN by the teams medical staff that he needed surgery on the knee. He instead, as we know now, chose to rehab it. What  is your view? Does that change your opinion of A. J. Smith?Merriman?
