fense limited the Eagles to just three field goals (although an interception of Tarvaris Jackson by Asante Samuel gave them 16 points for the half). On offense, the Vikings looked more than decent against a difficult-to-decipher Philly defense and got two Adrian Peterson runs for scores.

>The first big name to sign a free agent contract in the NFL this off-season is Pro-Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel. The 5-year veteran inked a 6-year contract that could possibly be worth $54 million with the Philadelphia Eagles. Samuel will with out a doubt upgrade an already impressive Philadelphia secondary.
