igor olshansky's comments "the patriots are scared"

I've been watching the sports news on ESPN and FoxSports.net and keep hearing the commentators condemning Igor Olshansky, the Chargers defensive lineman, for making comments about the New England Patriots team after the Chargers victory over the COlts last Sunday :

"Who? New England? Seriously, I mean, they're more worried than we are, I promise you. Believe me, they know what's up."

Now I know that other NFL players have gotten heat for dissing the Patriots. No one can forget Steelers player Anthony Smith's guarantee of a win over New England and his ultimate himiliation come game time.

But this is football! Players are supposed to challange each other. It's part of the game. Players need to pump themselves up for big games, especially during the playoffs. Besides, Olshansky was interviewed right after beating the Colts 28 - 24. Of course he would be pumped up for the Patriots game in the AFC championship. To all those who want no drama in the NFL, leave the rest of us fans alone and go watch golf!
