Chargers Last Stand? posted on 07/28/2008

Is this finally going to be the year the Chargers go to the Super Bowl? Rivers is another year older. Unfortunately, so is L.T. The Patriots and Colts seem to be on a downswing which bodes well for our beloved Bolts, but it would be foooooooolish to believe they're going to roll over and die. 

Ultimately, in my opinion, it all comes down to Rivers. Can he step up like Eli Manning did last last year? Don't forget, Manning was supposed to be our quarterback of the future - not Rivers. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe Manning is a prime-time quarterback and the real star during the Giants's run was the defense, but Manning seemed a little more self-assured than Rivers did. 

Then again, the Chargers probably could have beat the Patriots in the line-up, but L.T.'s body couldn't keep up. A bad sign?

What was the deal with Matt Leinart during the ESPY'S? posted on 07/25/2008
Matt Leinart, the man supposed to save my Arizona Cardinals looked like a little retard during last week's broadcast of this year's ESPY'S. While everyone was dressed up in big boy clothes (suits, ties, bling bling), Leinart wore a powder blue sweater and clip-on tie that I might have worn to my First Communion. Come on Leinart - get it together. And yes, I know I'm spelling his name wrong.

Powder Blue - Pee-uuu!!! posted on 07/10/2008

Am I the only one out there that thinks the Chargers' throwback powder blue jerseys are terrible? The whole retro thing is about as original as saying you're "going green". Personally, I've had enough of them and I won't stand for this nonsense anymore.

First off, coming out in "powder blue" unis' does not exactly put fear into the opponent. Now sure, we've been good the last few years, but what's going to happen when L.T. retires and Merriman gets man-boobs? We'll be the laughing stock of the league, I'm talking real namby-pambies. 

My second and third points are the same as above. Thank you for your time - go bolts!!!
