This will be the Chargers’ first preseason game against the Cowboys since 1989.
Week Two of the preseason has the Chargers headed to St. Louis to take on the Rams. It’s the second year in a row that the Bolts will play in the Gateway City. These two teams have an extensive preseason history as 2008 will mark the 36th preseason meeting. The Chargers beat the Rams, 30-13, last season to grab an 18-17 series edge. Date and kickoff time are TBD.
Monday Night Football comes to San Diego for the third week of the preseason as the Chargers take on the four-time defending NFC West Champion Seattle Seahawks at Qualcomm Stadium. The game is set for Monday, Aug. 25 on ESPN. Kickoff is TBD. This marks the third year in a row that the Chargers and Seahawks, former division rivals, will meet in the preseason.
